There are many neighborhood groups that create, build, and help maintain parks in Oakland. Working with an existing group to enhance your own park is an excellent way to strengthen the support network arounda park.

Workshops and Volunteer Work Parties
Morcom Rose Garden, 700 Jean Street
Help keep Morcom Rose Garden Blooming.
Join in the fun: workshops, mulching, weeding, pruning.
Volunteer work party days on the first Wednesday and the second Saturday of every month.
Bring gloves and hand tools.
