How Can You Support Oakland Parks?
OPC offers many options for volunteers to participate
in the improvement of Oakland parks. Look for one that suits your interests,
your talents and your schedule. Stewardship: Pick a park in your neighborhood and make it your own by volunteering to be the steward of that park. OPC seeks to identify stewards for every park in Oakland. For a list of parks that do not yet have stewards and for stewardship duties choose Park Stewardship. Then contact us at info@oaklandparkscoalition.org with your choice. Become a member of OPC:

Advocate for Parks: Become a member of OPC’s Advocates for Parks. In January or February of each year OPC reports to City Council on the state of maintenance of Oakland Parks. At that time it is important to hear from constituents about the need for consistent or enhanced levels of maintenance to sustain our parks.
Steering Committee: Join us at our monthly meetings and explore the enjoyable opportunities OPC offers which contribute to the enhancement of our parks.
